  1. I love your China template! You thought of EVERYTHING! Even a page for the Ayi's (my daughter asks about hers often!) and page for the "one child policy." You thought of many things to include that I would never have thought of! Love, love, love it!!!!!!

  4. This is just awesome. You have taken an overwhelming task and made it so much simpler to handle with the templates. Thanks for sharing!

  5. What I like best is that I can continue to revise and add to the lifebook over the years and order new copies. That way, I can let go of the need for it to be perfect the first time and just get on with creating it.

  7. The template is such an awesome idea. I want a hand in making the book, but don't have the right words. I've procrastinated for 2 years. I'm going to get one ordered tonight. Thanks and I'm a fb fan too!

  8. Love the whole concept of having so much of it done, but w/the flexibility to customize!

  9. I like the idea of making it simpler. So many people get daunted at the idea of making a lifebook. Myself, I'm a perfectionist. I have some very wonderful and special pages made for my daughter's lifebook. But, it isn't done! Templates for the rest might be just the trick. Or, what's that you say about completion service?

And my birthday is July 31st, surely that gets me another entry!

  11. I am one of those people who just doesn't know where to start in terms of a lifebook. This looks perfect for me to use for both my girls from China.

  12. I would really like some guidance in making a life book for my son. He was born in Vietnam and this template looks like it would give me some guidance.

  13. The templates are great for me. I've not started a lifebook for my girls and the guidance would be fantastic!!

  16. Love the templates! It took me almost 2 years to complete my 1st daughter's lifebook. With your templates, it will be so much easier this time. And I love the fact that you have one for SN adoptions.

  18. We will be traveling to China in 4-6 weeks to adopt our 7 year old son. I love your site. I love that you've thought through how to communicate the tough stuff like the "one child policy." I love that you offer a template for older waiting children. I hope I win, but if not, I'm going to order anyway!

  19. I love the idea of templates. When I look at shutterfly books, I don't even know where to begin.

  20. I love the idea of templates because it is so difficult to know where to begin with a lifebook. Great concept!

  21. Just "liked" your Facebook page!!! :)

  22. I'd love the China Waiting Child program template. :) Well, I need 2 of them done. LOL

  23. meant to add that since I've been trying to get this done for 2.5 years now, if I had a template it might actually get done for both daughters this year!

  24. China Waiting China template is great. I really need to get my daughter's life book done before we adopt again.

  25. I love the concept of a template b/c the hardest thing with ANYTHING is knowing how to start. Having a template removes that stumbling block.

  26. Great service. You cover every topic to answer our childrens questions.

  27. Love the China template and the whole idea of templates. I have started my daughter's book and never got past page 6. She frequently asks why my boys both have baby books and she doesn't but lucky for me I can tell her she has a movie and they do not. My daughter would love to have her own book.

  28. I have two girls who need lifebooks. I am horribly remiss in making them, but I am just not in the league of the master scrapbookers...I'm actually a little scared of doing it 'wrong'

  29. I have three children that I need to make lifebooks for. I've had good intentions, but sitting down to actually do it has been overwhelming. Your template would give me a "leg up" and I could use it for all three kids yet each book would come out differently due to their individual information.

  30. I became "a Fan" of MyStoryLifebooks.com (I was a fan from the first time I saw the website, and actually I picked the only option available to me these days on Facebook: "Like") I have been following your posts and enjoying all the writing and referrals that you have shared. I have shared them with others as well. Thank you!

  31. Why I like the template concept is how it takes the emotion-laden and complicated task of creating a lifebook and breaks it down into a simple and straightforward steps that are easy to complete. I have the Lifebooks book with its excellent sample pages (the templates) and advice, but it has sat on my bed stand for 3 years because I have yet to commit any of it to paper for the actual lifebook! As wonderful as the book is, it still can't "write itself". I can't seem to get to the part that would actually involve re-writing or printing out on scrapbook paper and assembling it myself. And even with the excellent samples you can copy, I still find myself with severe writer's block, little time and great anxiety over starting this project. The "My Story Lifebooks" template, with its sensitive language and simple narrative, is already awaiting my additions, personalization, & revisions online. It will be ready for me so I don't have to reinvent the wheel. Once I see something in print, I will have gotten over my biggest hurdle, and will be encouraged to continue and even actually complete my daughter's lifebook before she goes to Kindergarten!
